Paintings & drawings

I paint and draw fast, chasing the light more than the details.

About

I'm Sophie, an artist from Rheden in the Netherlands, and I love to draw and paint fast. I would rather catch the light on a river or the feeling of a morning than get caught up in tiny details. I work in acrylic, charcoal and digital paint, and I keep returning to the Impressionists, to earthy colours and every kind of blue. I am still experimenting with new techniques and styles.
